2.	Public Workshop to discuss the “Radical 10 in 2K10" Initiative and provide additional direction to staff [A-050-060]
	2A. Money for a Newly Constructed Home!
	Action: Directed staff to proceed if a revenue neutral expansion of the City’s existing Down Payment Assistance Program could be proven to be feasible.

	2B. Repair Your House Now!
	Action: Directed staff to provide additional information related to expanding the City’s existing Residential Rehabilitation Program.

	2C. First Lot Free in Stillwater Business Park
	Action: Directed staff to provide additional information related to negotiations on the first Stillwater Business Park lot to be purchased.

	2D. Partner Up! City of Redding Surplus Property as Potential Partnership Sites
	Action: Directed staff to analyze the possible development of City-owned properties that are designated as surplus.

	2E. Clean up the Town for Free! Redding California Conservation Corps
	Action: Directed staff to provide additional information related to funding a new, one-year youth California Conservation Corps team, dedicated to completion of local environmental/conservation projects.

	2F. Sales Tax Guaranteed for Our Neighborhoods
	Action: Declined consideration of an increase to local sales tax.

	2G. Growing a Revenue Source
	Action: Declined consideration of a city-owned and operated medical marijuana dispensary and directed staff to provide additional information related to adding a measure to the November 2010 ballot to assess a tax on the sale of medical marijuana.

	2H. Other ideas to stimulate additional economic activity and job growth in Redding
	Action: Directed staff to analyze a possible increase to the local business preference from 1 percent to 5 percent.
