King's Brotherhood

Boys 9-15 years old

Is your teenage boy tired of being bored on Monday nights with nothing to do? Well not anymore because Monday night is Guys Night at the MLK Center. This weekly club fosters positive attitudes, healthy mind and body, builds leadership and social skills as well as self worth. Come enjoy the great activities that we have to offer including playing sports, computer lab, snacks, and much more!

Family Dinners

All ages welcome

Join us for a delicious and nutritious meal with your family and neighbors. Save yourself some after work stress and have dinner on us. Family Dinner's are a great way to meet your neighbors, spend quality time with your family and save some cash during the summer sun.

Camp King

5-14 years old, (5 year olds must have completed kindergarten)

Campers will have an abundance of fun in the sun at Camp King. Participants will go to the aquatic center every Tuesday and will go on various field trips around the city every Thursday. Each week has a separate theme and activities that coorelate. Campers will play games, do arts and crafts, use the computers, dance, music and more…

Join us for a country breakfast with all the fixings including biscuits, eggs, bacon or sausage, fresh fruit, orange juice, coffee and milk. An Oatmeal/Toast option will be available.

Cougar's Den

Cypress School students are invited to join the Cougar's Den Afterschool Program at the MLK Center!

This program is a partnership with the Redding School District and runs Monday-Friday from 2:45-6:00 pm. The Cougar's Den is dedicated to providing academic enrichment, homework assistance, promoting positive peer interactions, recreation, and a safe environment where students can have fun and learn new skills while in a supervised setting. The program is available to all Cypress students in K-5th grade.
