Closed Furlough Fridays
On certain Fridays, the Recreation Office (located at 1250 Parkview Ave.) will be closed as part of the City wide Furlough Friday. We will typically reopen the following Monday. All other Recreation programs, camps, events, etc. will remain open and staffed. Closure dates for 2014 are: 8/8, 8/22, 9/5, 9/19, 10/3, 10/17, 10/31, 11/14, 12/5, 12/12, 12/26.

Enjoy smoke-free parks
Because we value modeling a healthy lifestyle to youth in our recreation program, the City of Redding passed a smoke-free parks policy beginning November 16, 2012.
