Fit4Life Photo Contest
How would you like to have your picture featured in a Redding Recreation Activity Guide AND win one complimentary registration fee for a Redding Recreation program?! All you have to do is go out and enjoy the natural world that surrounds us every day in Redding, take a few pictures, pick your five favorites and submit them by email or CD to Redding Recreation for consideration. Don't forget to include your contact information and your signed entry form.
Fall Contest deadline: Friday, July 6th
Composition: Kids (ages 5-16) only competition! Get out and get active (with that camera)! Capture a scene of a point of interest local to City of Redding. Include a description of where you are. You can retouch it digitally (Photoshop it) to your heart's content. Points will be given for the most creative composition and artistic technique so get wild and crazy (but be safe) and send in your photos.
Amateur photographers only please. This contest is open to ages 5-16. No late submissions will be accepted.

Playground in a Bag
Want to head to the park, but don't have any toys? Rent a Playground in a Bag. Call the office to schedule a time to build your own bag from our supplies which range from jump ropes and frisbees to volleyball and softball equipment including pickleball & croquet. We've got everything you need for a day at the park! For an additional fee we will send an experienced Recreation Leader to help you lead games with your family or group so you can relax and join in the fun.
Bag rental is for 24hrs during the week, 72hrs on the weekends.
Fee: $20/bag, $25/hour for Recreation Leader
