The GIS Division provides mapping and information services to most city departments and divisions. Our mission is to continue to integrate GIS technology into the City of Redding departmental workflows and business processes to increase productivity and improve efficiency. The GIS Division is committed to delivering high-quality spatial and attribute data to the desktops of our customers, both internal and external, so as to allow better decisions to be made based on the best available information.
This site has several pages that will tell you a little bit about the City of Redding GIS program, provide you with some GIS data for download in .SHP format, stock maps for download in .PDF format, and a set of links that we have found to be valuable to our staff.
