5. COMMISSION CONSIDERATION

a. GENERAL PLAN/HOUSING ELEMENT ANNUAL PROGRESS REPORT. State law requires that local agencies prepare and forward to the local legislative body and appropriate state agencies an annual report on the progress made toward implementing the broad policies of the General Plan and attaining the goals and objectives set forth in the Housing Element. The report is being provided to the Commission for information purposes. Staff Recommendation: Accept report. G-030-070

b. PREDEVELOPMENT REVIEW - of a proposal by Randy Denham for expansion of an automobile dealership on property located at 842 North Market Street. The applicant seeks approval of the following applications:

General Plan Amendment Application GPA-1-10, to amend the policies of the North Market Street Focus Area related to the establishment of new automobile-oriented uses. G-030-010

Rezoning Application RZ-2-10, to rezone the project site from "GC-VR" General Commercial-Visitor/ Retail District to "GC" General Commercial District. L-010-230

Site Development Permit Application SDP-3-10, for the expansion of an automobile dealership. L-010-390-700

6. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - This item is set aside for the public to address the Planning Commission on any items of concern not listed on the Agenda.
