(1)  ABANDONMENT APPLICATION A-1-06, by Village Development, requesting approval to abandon a narrow strip of a designated open-space easement over usable rear-yard areas on certain lots in The Villages at Shasta View Gardens Subdivision. The abandonment involves 11 undeveloped parcels that abut the greenbelt area located on the west side of the subdivision for properties addressed 2006 through 2124 Tuscany Drive. These lots are zoned "RM-15-PD" Residential Multiple Family District with Planned Development Overlay District. Environmental Determination: Categorically Exempt. Staff Recommendation: Approval. A-010-040  APPROVED

(2) USE PERMIT APPLICATION UP-1-07, by MetroPCS, requesting approval to install at 1345 Lake Boulevard a wireless-communication facility, including a 65-foot-tall slimline monopole tower with internally mounted antenna arrays for up to two wireless providers, and ground-mounted equipment shelters. The tower and ground-mounted equipment would occupy a 24-foot by 36-foot lease area that would be enclosed with a 6-foot-tall decorative block wall. The property is zoned "GC" General Commercial District. Environmental Determination: Categorically Exempt. Staff Recommendation: Approval. L-010-390  APROVED

APPEALS: Decisions by the Planning Commission may be appealed to the City Council by submitting a written appeal, together with the applicable fee, within ten calendar days to the Development Services Department at 777 Cypress Avenue.
