2010 FIREFIGHTER OF THE YEAR: Fire Inspector Craig Wittner

Fire Inspector Craig Wittner is a graduate of both the Butte College Building Inspection Technology program and Fire/Arson Investigation program at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Craig worked for the City of Redding, Building Deaprtment, for ten (10) years as a Building Inspector and has been a Fire Inspector for the Redding Fire Department since 2004.
Craig performs daily fire and life safety inspections of building for fire code compliance and also serves as one of two primary Fire Investigators in the Department.
Off duty, Craig enjoys his family life with his wife and their two daughters.
We are truly honored to have Fire Inspector Craig Wittner in our department and recognize him as the 2010 Redding Firefighter of the Year.
