ENFORCEABLE/RECOGNIZED OBLIGATION PAYMENT SCHEDULE (EOPS)/RECOGNIZED OBLIGATION PAYMENT

SCHEDULE (ROPS)

In accordance with Assembly Bill (AB) x1 26, specifically, Health & Safety (H&S) Code Section 34169(g), a redevelopment agency is required to adopt an Enforceable Obligation Payment Schedule (EOPS) that lists all obligations that are enforceable within the meaning of subdivision (d) of H&S Code Section 34167.  Accordingly, the Redding Redevelopment Agency's Board of Directors has adopted the following EOPS for each of the following project areas:

-   Buckeye Redevelopment Project Area:

     07-01-11 to 12-31-11                          01-01-12 to 06-30-12

-   Canby-Hilltop-Cypress Redevelopment Project Area:

     07-01-11 to 12-31-11                          01-01-12 to 06-30-12

-   Market Street Redevelopment Project Area:

     07-01-11 to 12-31-11                          01-01-12 to 06-30-12

-   Midtown Redevelopment Project Area:

     07-01-11 to 12-31-11                          01-01-12 to 06-30-12

-   SHASTEC Redevelopment Project Area:

     07-01-11 to 12-31-11                          01-01-12 to 06-30-12

The EOPS is available for review by clicking on the date for the appropriate project area.

In addition, the City of Redding, as Successor Agency to the Redding Redevelopment Agency, prepared and submitted a draft Recognized Obligation Payment Schedule (ROPS) for the enforceable obligations of the former redevelopment agency to the County Auditor-Controller on February 28, 2012.  The draft ROPS is to be reviewed and certified, as to its accuracy, by an external auditor designated by the Shasta County Auditor-Controller.  The certified ROPS is then submited to the Oversight Board for approval, and ultimately the State of California's Department of Finance.

As of April 13, 2012, the draft ROPS had not been certified, therefore, the draft ROPS for each project area was submitted to the State of California Controller, the State's Department of Finance, and the Shasta County Auditor-Controller, pending approval by the County's external auditor and the Oversight Board.

On April 19, 2012, the ROPS for each of the Project Areas was adopted by the Oversight Board for the periods February 1, 2012 through June 30, 2012, and July 1, 2012, through December 31, 2012.  The documents were forwarded to the State's Department of Finance, the State's Controller, and the Shasta County Auditor-Controller on April 23, 2012.  These documents were subsequently amended by the Oversight Board on August 16, 2012, as well as adopting the ROPS for the period January 1, 2012, through June 30, 2013 and sent to the required parties on August 20, 2012.

ROPS Documents:

January 1, 2012, through June 30, 2012

July 1, 2012, through December 31, 2012

January 1, 2013, through June 30, 2013

July 1, 2013, through December 31, 2013
