ENFORCEABLE OBLIGATION PAYMENT SCHEDULE (EOPS)

In accordance with Assembly Bill (AB) x1 26, specifically, Health & Safety (H&S) Code Section 34169(g), a redevelopment agency is required to adopt an Enforceable Obligation Payment Schedule (EOPS) that lists all obligations that are enforceable within the meaning of subdivision (d) of H&S Code Section 34167.  Accordingly, the Redding Redevelopment Agency's Board of Directors has adopted the following EOPS for each of the following project areas:

-   Canby-Hilltop-Cypress Redevelopment Project Area:

Redding Redevelopment Agency General Information

The Redding Redevelopment Agency was established in 1959 by the City Council of the City of Redding. Formal redevelopment activity commenced in 1968 with the adoption of the Redevelopment Plan for the Midtown Project consisting of ten acres in the heart of downtown Redding. In 1981, the Agency established a second project area -- the Canby-Hilltop-Cypress Project. In 1990, both projects were expanded and the Midtown Project was renamed the Market Street Redevelopment Project. The Agency is governed by the Redding City Council which serves as the Agency's Board of Directors, but in fact is a separate and distinct entity from the City

AGENCY MEETINGS:

Meetings of the Redding Redevelopment Agency are held the third Monday of each month at 5:15 p.m. The meetings take place in the Council Chambers located at 777 Cypress Avenue, Redding. Agency meetings - except for closed sessions as allowed by law - are open to the public, and participation by citizens is welcomed and encouraged.

AGENCY AGENDAS:

The Redding Redevelopment Agency's agenda is prepared by Agency staff under the direction of the Agency's Executive Director prior to each Agency meeting. The agenda sets forth the order and subject matter to be considered at the meeting. Agency agendas are available at the Agency's Office located on the 3rd floor of the Redding City Hall building or may be viewed in the display case in front of the Council Chambers, 777 Cypress Avenue, Redding, beginning at 4 p.m. on the Wednesday preceding the Agency meeting. The preliminary agenda, including staff reports, are also available on this web site.

Individuals interested in requesting placement of an item on the agenda for Agency discussion must submit a written request to the Agency at 777 Cypress Avenue, Redding.
