Temporary Container: A temporary container is defined as one that is to be used for a period of 60 days or less. The Solid Waste Utility reserves the right to convert a temporary container to permanent container status if the usage period exceeds sixty days. Temporary Drop Box: A temporary drop box is defined as one that is not used for ongoing solid waste services at an established permise and which is for short-term or transient usage only. Drop boxes used for construction, remodel and demolition are, by their very nature, temporary.
