Establishing Service for Permanent Containers & Drop Boxes
Containers and Drop Boxes are available for permanent, ongoing solid waste services at established premises. Our staff can help you determine the type of container, the size, and the frequency of collection that will meet your needs. Cost is based on the size of container or drop box and the frequency of collection. Call (530) 224-6201 for more information.
Available container sizes are: 1.5 yd, 2 yd, 3 yd, 4 yd, 6 yd*, and 8 yd*
* These container types do not have wheels
Drop boxes are available in the following sizes: 10 yd, 20 yd, 30 yd, and 40 yd
Sample Permanent Drop Box contracts can be viewed online by selecting the appropriate link below ; however, these forms are read-only and may not be edited. Original contracts are available exclusively through the City of Redding's Solid Waste Utility Customer Service Division. Please call (530) 224-6201 or visit our office Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm to establish service.
