Typically, a family of four or more will use a 96-gallon cart. Singles, couples, small families, and families that are dedicated recyclers might choose the smaller, 64-gallon size. The benefit to your pocketbook of using the smaller cart is a savings of $12.00/ year. If you need a smaller or larger gray cart or need to request an additional cart or removal of a cart, simply call our Customer Service Department during business hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at (530) 224-6201. We would be happy to make an exchange for you! Residential customers who are disabled, handicapped, or physically unable to move a waste wheeler to the street may apply for an exemption by calling Customer Service.
