*The facility currently services households only. Business waste is not accepted.

NOT ACCEPTED: Explosives, Ammunition, Radioactive Material, Infectious Waste, Prescriptions & Over-the-Counter Medications, Asbestos, Large Compressed Gas Cylinders, and Hazardous waste from businesses.

Check out this list of local Certified Used Oil Recycling Centers that pay YOU!  Finish the job right! Recycle used motor oil filters, too!  Most certified centers will also accept oil filters free of charge.

The Household Hazardous Waste Facility is operated by the City of Redding.  This facility serves all residents of Shasta County; including, the cities of Redding, Anderson, Shasta Lake and Unincorporated Shasta County.
