The Redding Municipal Airport was asked by Ventura County to partner in their application to the Federal Aviation Administration to become a test site to study integration of unmanned aircraft systems into the national airspace. Implementation of the new Redding Municipal Airport Tenant Access Card program is two-thirds complete. All tenants are to be issued a new gate access card prior to May 31, 2013. If you need to update your access card, please call Airport staff at (530) 224-4321 to schedule an appointment.
Links to the Tenant Access Form and Sponsor Endorsement Form are located in the Airport Tenant Gate Access box on this page. Fill in the form on-line, print and bring it and a picture identification (driver's license or passport) to the office. Please return your old card.
The Airport terminal rehabilitation and expansion project began in March 2012. All passenger airline and car rental services will remain fully operational and Peter Chu's restaurant will continue to serve its customers.
