for parking citations issued by the Redding Police
Department, the California Highway Patrol, and the
Shasta County Sheriff's Office are accepted by the
City Treasurer's Office, located on the 3rd Floor
of City Hall, 777 Cypress Avenue, Redding.
For information
that describes the code violations noted on your parking violation,
you may review the Redding
Municipal Code or Division 11 of the
California Vehicle Code. The City Treasurer's Office will be unable to provide any information regarding the reason why a parking violation was issued to you.
The City
Treasurer's Office accepts cash, check, or credit
card (Visa or MasterCard) for parking citations payments. To contact
the City Treasurer's Office, you may call (530) 225-4160 Monday through Friday between the hours of 1pm and 5 pm.

with your citation, you have the right to appeal the

Notice:
As of December 7, 2010, a $3.00 fee will be added to all parking citation penalty amounts. This fee increase was imposed by the State of California pursuant to SB 857 to fund trial court operations. The City is mandated to collect and transmit this fee to the State of California. This fee will sunset on July 1, 2013, unless it is extended or repealed by subsequent legislation or budget proposals.

For parking citations issued by the National Forest Service (Whiskeytown), a notice with instructions on how to pay the citation will be mailed to you by the US Magistrate Court 10 to 14 days after the date of the citation.
For moving violations, including red light violations, please contact the Shasta County Superior Court at 530-245-6789.
PARKING PERMITS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE
